SHENDOKU - Sociable Sudoku

SHENDOKU™ is a copyright protected game, with formats lodged for game shows, printed games, board games, computer games and on-line interactive games. Patents for game board and playing pieces are pending. Single and two-player games are in development for PC, mobiles and other platforms. On-line games are also in development and a game show format is now available for interested production companies.

In most cases, copyright applies to the use of the game format and in this regard we are aware that such use for private purposes is neither protectable or desirable to protect. Any person playing Shendoku using a home made play grid and a solution from a published SuDoku puzzle can do so with our blessing. However should that person produce the same grids for others, sell them or otherwise profit from them, we would consider this a violation of the copyright protection owned by the inventors, DR Shenton & BM Clent.

Abuse of patents relating to the nine sided dice, the game board(s) and other play pieces would also violate the rights of the IP holders and prosecution can be anticipated for those doing so. However anyone who modifies an existing die, makes their own gameboard etc. for personal enjoyment again does so with our blessing.
